There course are vocation oriented and act as initial induction and stepping stones for students desiring to enter specific vocations. Only such courses have been included in this scheme which open venues of employment and vocation for the students . The employment opportunities existing in the country economy and industry presently and those likely to arise in the next decade are analyzed by experts. Special course designed to provide the developing economy and industry to the country with qualified and trained personnel to handle efficiently the jobs of vocations arising out of progress in the future are included in this scheme. Good employment prospects couple with ever increasing salary and respectable status can be reasonably expected by candidates qualifying the vocational courses conducted by the association. Qualified students are equipped with prior working knowledge as well as given on job training at college and other offices and department with prior arrangements by colleges, wherever feasible and in particular this on job-training prepares a vocational certificate qualified candidate of this association for the job or vocation he is pursuing as a career. Vocational Advanced Certificate Course:

The vocational Advanced course are special course designed to cater to the growing needs of the economy and industry of the country. The course incorporated under this scheme are of a nature as to demand professional skill and expertise from the persons engaged in practice thereof. Vast opportunities of employment are available in the country for skilled jobs and in case one is not looking for a white collar job only these courses train a person for skilled vocations and jobs whereby one can readily get employment opportunities as also gradually set up his own workshop. A special committee of experts analysed the growing needs of the country Industry, Commerce and economy. The committee was charges with the responsibility of exploring job prospects in so far untapped fields. Various suggestions were also received by the commercial from educationists , commercial circles and Industries. All these suggestions were duly considered and evaluated and as a result the vocational advanced course were introduced in the association. The committee reports defies the myth that India has unemployment problem. The Unemployment problem only exists in middle order educational circles whereby people strive to attain white-collar job only. In skilled working having acute shortage of personnel which is sought to be supplemented by the association. The courses provide readily available employment opportunities of service as well as self employment prospectus exist. The training for these jobs have reduced to an intensive training in the particular field by way of classroom study and workshop training. The training scheme is so devised as to incorporate the essential job requirements of each vocation and basic knowledge of subjects in the syllabus prescribed for the examinations coupled with practical training which enable a candidate to gain deep insight in the job requirements and working conditions of the particular vocation and trade as to enable him to handle the intricacies of the job and vocation independently.

Vocational Group Diploma Courses have been devised to import to the student the basic functional knowledge of a particular works career and to acceptant him with the intricacies of the profession and practice of these principles. Hobby certificate courses are designed to the working skill of a person and to impart such knowledge which be can utilise beneficially in his day to day life. Specialization group diploma course are an extension of academic studies coupled with professional know-how and devised to impart the basic professional knowledge of a particular field of commercial activity and to acquaint the candidate with the intricacies of the professional practice of these principal in commerce and trade.

A person having undergone these course of studies can better his prospectus in the office or establishment he is already working in and seek additional venues of promotion and career. MATRICULATION OR S ENIOR SCHOOL LEAVING CERTIFICATE EXAMINATIO :
(ACADEMIC CERTIFICATE EXAMINATION ):

The scheme for matriculation or senior school leaving certificate examination has been revised.

As per the new scheme the matriculation or senior school leaving certificate examination shall comprises total six papers. The student shall take all the six papers in one siting. Maximum marks are 600 and qualifying marks are 40% in aggregate.

Diploma in Commerce or D.Com. Examination is an Academic Diploma examination providing for specialization in a particular field of study in commerce. REGISTRATION & ENROLLMENT FOR ONE YEAR EXECUTIVE M. B. A. COURSE

MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS :

Graduation Degree Examinations of a University RECOGNIZED by THE A-I.C.A.

( Candidates having appeared for Graduation Final Examinations of a University RECOGNIZED by The A.-I.C.A. and awaiting results are entitled to seek Provisional Enrollment Subject to their Qualifying the Degree Examination ).

STUDY MATERIAL PROVIDED BY THE A – I. C. A. TO CANDIDATES ENROLLLED FOR THE COURSE :

Association also provides STUDY MATERIAL AND LESSONS to Student Members in all Subject Papers for the Course. These Study Material and Lessons are in the nature of study of all aspects of the prescribed Syllabus and give Detailed Explanatory Statements of each individual content of the prescribed syllabus. Study Materials and Lessons also give further leading references for the advanced detailed study of the Topic.

Reference to Reference Books, Journal, Magazines and other professional study materials in addition to the Course Material provided is essential for the successful completion of the study for the courses.

COMPULSORY COACHING, EDUCATION AND TRAINING AT COACHING CENTERS :

All Students are Compulsorily required to Enroll and Join a Coaching Center and pursue the regular Course of Studies and Education and Training Programs conducted by the Center.

The Coaching Center may levy the Tuition and other Center Fees directly. Student shall be required to remit the Center Fees IN ADDITION TO THE A-I.C.A. Fees and Subscriptions as stated here-above.

Coaching Centers are charged with the responsibility of providing the students with proper coaching and education. Centers shall prescribe the Tuition Fee and other Fees to be charged directly by Center in Center Prospectus issued by Center. Students are required to be regular in the remittance of tuition fees, etc., directly to Center as per schedule and in return, Centers shall provide proper coaching and training as per curriculum of studies prescribed.

Completion of prescribed Courses of Studies in accordance with Curicullum of Studies prescribed is an essential requirement of Examination Enrollment. Certificate for Completion of Course will be issued by Director of Coaching Center. Issue of Course Completion Certificate and Re-Submission of Students Enrollment Card issued by THE A-I.C.A.
at the time of Original Registration and forwarded to Coaching Center are essential Pre-Requisites for Enrollment for Examinations besides submission of Examinations Enrollment Forms and Examination Fees etc.

MID-TERM ASSIGNMENTS :

During the course of studies, after the completion of 75 % of course, Students will receive
Mid-Term Assignment from the Association. Mid-Term Assignment are in the form of Textual
Questions or Assignments or problems of projects and are forwarded by THE A-I.C.A. directly
to students who are required to submit the same duly solved to the Association. Mid - Term
Assignments response sheets must be returned to the Association within the Prescribed time and in the manner notified. MID TERM ASSIGNMENTS ARE EVALUATED OUT OF MAXIMUM MARKS 40 IN EACH SUBJECT PAPER.

QUALIFYING PERCENTAGE AND MARKS :

Maximum Marks in each Subject Paper are 200 divided into 20% or 40 Maximum Marks for Mid Term Assignments Assessment and remaining 160 Maximum Marks for written Examinations. Pass percentage is a Candidate securing at least 40% Minimum Marks in each Subject Paper and 50% Minimum Marks in Aggregate Total.Project Report is evaluated out or Maximum Marks 400. It is clarified further that, according the above, the Qualifying Percentage will be as under :

EXECUTIVE M. B. A. PROGRAMME

FEES AND SUBSCRIPTIONS PAYABLE :

As per its objects all receipts of the Association are utilized towards promotion of its objects being promotion of Management Programs within the country and abroad. Association prescribes the Schedule of Fees and Subscriptions payable.

The admission of Students is made directly by the Association and students are assigned to
various Centers for Educational Programs.

In Addition to the Compulsory Coaching and Training at the Centers, the Association sends the Study Materials and Lecture Notes in all compulsory core subject papers directly to all Student Members Enrollled for the Course.

FEES FOR ONE YEAR EXECUTIVE M. B. A. (MASTERS OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION) SPECIALISATION PROGRAMS :

Duration of the Executive M. B. A. Specialisation Programs is ONE year (one sitting).

The students will pay total prescribed Enrollment and Registration fees to the Association
at the time of admission.

Further, the student will pay the Tuition Fee for the Year Directly to the Center.

Details regarding the total fees payable DIRECTLY to the Association are :

a) Enrollment / Registration fees
b) Compulsory Student Membership Subscriptions for One Year
c) Course Fee

The Above Fees are Payable IN ADDITION to the Prescribed Examination Fees, Compulsory Membership Subscriptions, Convocation Fees and Miscellaneous Fees and subscriptions Payable to the Association as Prescribed by the Association.

Additionally, Tuition Fees, Admission Fee and such other miscellaneous Fees will be payable by the student directly to the Center as prescribed by the Center.

Honorary Authorized Official Representatives

The Association Has its HAOR’s in various districts, Principal cities and States of this country and in various countries abroad as stated above. A list of such representatives appears in Appendix “C”. Candidates in these regions and countries may contact this Representative and seek further details with respect of Enrollment, Enrollment forms and submit their application to such Representatives in all respects for onward transmission to the Association. Details also appear in foregoing clauses.

B. Ed. PROGRAMME REGULATIONS

Vide powers vested in the Memorandum of Associations and Rules and Regulations, the Board of The All – India Commercial Association has constituted the “ AKHIL BHARTIYA VIDYA SANSTHAN “ for the purpose of impart of professional education and training skills in various professions viz. Education, Teaching and such other skills the “Sansthan“ may decide to impart in the future.

General Secretary of The A – I. C. A. will be the Chairman of the “ Sansthan “.  Other Office Bearers and Members of the Sansthan will be nominated / appointed by the General Secretary.

It has been directed by the Sansthan that One Year B.Ed. Academic Programme be commenced w. e. f. Spring, 2016 Session onwards for Examinations to be held in May – June, 2017 onwards and the said Programme shall be presently offered under the “ Sansthan “ under the regulatory supervision and control of The All – India Commercial Association, New Delhi.

The duration of B. Ed. Academic Programme shall be of One Academic Year.

ADMISSIONS – ONE YEAR ACADEMIC PG B. ED. PROGRAMME :

The admissions to the educational programmes are held Twice each year in the month of May for Spring Session and in the month of November for Autumn Session each year.  Though not formally recognized, many a schools and educational institutions accept the candidates having successfully completed the educational programme for job placements and recruitments.  It is incumbent upon the Directors of Educational and Training Centres to provide the aspirants with complete and detailed information relating to the rules and regulations of the Sansthan, its status and existence and relating to the educational programme and its status and public acceptance and rules relating to the fee remittance and educational systems and methodology pursued for the conduct of the programme.

ABOUT THE ONE YEAR ACADEMIC PG B. ED. PROGRAMME :

One year academic PG. B. Ed. Programme : is a Post-graduate Educational Programme in Teaching methodology and Educational systems meeting the standards and requirements of the generic B. Ed. Course.  This is a One year Post-graduate educational and training Programme.  The Programme is Conducted Through Compulsory Students Contact Progarmmes and teaching in the centres associated with the A – I. C. A. and the Sansthan.  The programme comprises Compulsory Regular and / or Part-Time Teaching, Coaching and Training for a Minimum Period of One Academic Year.  The Examinations are held in June / November each year based upon the intake of students for the respective sessions.  Submission of the Project Work / Project Report is Compulsory.  Programme is aimed at providing the participants with basic groundwork and in-depth knowledge through teaching and training in foundation subject papers in the fields of systems and methodology of education together with two specialisation groups in the area of teaching and education.

ELIGIBILITY :

Admission to the One Year B. Ed. programme is open to candidates having :

Qualified the Graduation Degree from any university / institution recognised by the Sansthan.

Provided, however, that the Candidates having appeared for Graduation Final Examinations of a University recognised by The A.-I.C.A. and the Sansthan and awaiting results are entitled to seek Provisional Enrolment Subject to their passing the qualifying Examination.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF COACHING, TEACHING, TRAINING AND EXAMINATIONS :

The Sansthan, under the authority of The A – I. C. A.,  will issue the  curriculum of Studies, courses of studies, detailed syllabus, systems and methods of coaching, teaching, training and examinations for the B. ED. Academic Programme. 

COURSE STRUCTURE :

Every Course offered will have minimum one to maximum three components associated with the teaching / learning process of the course, depending upon the nature of the course and course requirements, namely :
 (a) Lecture     (ii) Tutorial       (ii) Practical

Lecture and Tutorials : Students participation in class-room discussion / self study / presentations by students is aimed at ensuring effective absorption and assimilation of the contents by the students as delivered in the lecture / classes.  Novel and unique innovative methods shall be used by centres as effective tools of education, teaching and training of students.

Practical sessions : Practical sessions comprise internship in teaching and its related activities and experiments / hands on experience / field studies / case studies aimed at equipping the students and ensuring that they acquire the essential skill component for effective delivery of teaching to the students. 

Total duration of an Academic Session / Year is 40 weeks including teaching, training and examinations.

This programme consists of Foundation / Compulsory Core Subject Paper Courses, Specialisation-Pedagogical Courses including Compulsory Mandatory Skills necessary for the specialisation and Internship-Practical’s / Practice Teaching.

Each candidate should choose a combination of 2 Specialization courses for the B.Ed programme from the offered groups and combinations.

DOCUMENTS TO BE FORWARDED TO THE SANSTHAN BY THE CENTRE DIRECTORS FOR ADMISSION TO THE B. ED. ACADEMIC PROGRAMME :

1.         Application form duly filled in by the candidate and recommended by the Director of the Centre

2.         Photostat copies of the Academic / Educational Certificates being :

a.         School-Leaving Certificate
b.         School-Leaving Certificate examinations Detailed Marks-sheet
c.         Graduation Degree examinations detailed Marks-sheet
d.         Graduation Degree Certificate OR Provisional Graduation Degree Certificate
e.         Any other academic / educational certificate desired to be submitted by the applicant

  1. Photostat copies of Professional / Vocational / Skill certificates, if any.

 

  1. Three copies of the pass-port size photographs of the applicant with each copy stating the name of the candidate, name of course, name of the centre in full and certified by the Centre Director on the back of the photograph.
  1. Total Fees payable as per schedule of fees prescribed.

 

REGISTRATION AND ENROLMENT OF THE APPLICANTS AS STUDENT MEMBERS :

On receipt of the Application duly completed in all respects including all necessary enclosures, recommendation by the Centre Director and Total Fees Payable, the Sansthan will scrutinise the application and, on satisfaction, enrol the applicant as Student Member.  On being satisfied, the Sansthan will send :

a.         Student Enrolment Form and
b.         Eligibility Certificate 

issued in favour of the student to the Centre for on-ward issue to the student.

EDUCATION, TEACHING AND TRAINING OF STUDENTS :

On receipt of the Student Enrolment Card and Eligibility Certificate, the student will be formally admitted to the Centre for continuing education and provided all education and training by the Centre as per the rules and regulations and the training scheme and the curriculla and syllabus of courses prescribed. 

COMPULSORY COACHING, EDUCATION AND TRAINING AT COACHING CENTRES :

All Students are Compulsorily required to Enrol and Join a Coaching Centre and pursue the regular Studies and Education and Training Programmes conducted by the Centre. 

Centres shall prescribe a uniform schedule of Tuition Fee and other Fees payable to be charged directly by Centre in Centre Prospectus issued by Centre.  Students are required to be regular in the remittance of tuition fees, etc., directly to Centre as per schedule. Centres shall provide proper coaching and training as per curriculla and syllabus of studies prescribed by the Sansthan.

Completion of prescribed Programme of Studies in accordance with Curriculla of Studies prescribed is an essential requirement of Examination Enrolment.  Certificate for Completion of Programme of studies will be issued by Director of Coaching Centre.

Issue of Course Completion Certificate by the Centre and Re-Submission of Students Enrolment Card, issued by the Sansthan at the time of Original Registration and forwarded to Centre, are essential Pre-Requisites for Enrolment for Examinations besides submission of Examinations Enrolment Forms and Examination Fees, etc..

STUDY MATERIAL AND STUDY FOR  THE PROGRAMME TO BE PROVIDED BY THE CENTRE TO CANDIDATES ENROLLED FOR THE PROGRAMME  :

Centre will provides STUDY MATERIAL AND LESSONS to Student Members in all Subject Papers prescribed for the Programme.  These Study Material and Lessons will be in the nature of study of all aspects of the prescribed Syllabus. Centre will provide Detailed explanations and teaching of each individual content of the prescribed syllabus during the conduct of educational programme.  Study Materials and Lessons also give further leading references for the advanced detailed study of the Topic.

Reference to Reference Books, Journals, Magazines and other professional study materials in addition to the Course Material provided is essential for the successful completion of the programme.

MID-TERM ASSIGNMENTS :

During the course of studies, after the completion of 75 % of the educational programme, Students will receive Mid-Term Assignment from the Sansthan.  Mid-Term Assignment are in the form of Textual Questions or Assignments or problems or projects and are forwarded by the Sansthan directly to students who are required to submit the duly solved Mid-Term Assignments to the  Sansthan within the Prescribed time and in the manner notified. 

MID TERM ASSIGNMENTS ARE EVALUATED OUT OF MAXIMUM MARKS 50 IN EACH SUBJECT PAPER AND FORM PART OF THE FINAL EXAMINATIONS ASSESSMENT.

QUALIFYING PERCENTAGE AND MARKS :

Maximum Marks in each Subject Paper Written Examination are divided as stated here-under IN ADDITION TO the Maximum Marks for Mid Term Assignments Assessment and Maximum Marks for Compulsory Project Work or Project Report and Practical and Viva - voca.  Prescribed Pass percentage is a Candidate securing at least 40 % Minimum Marks in each Subject Paper and 50 % Minimum Marks in Aggregate Total.    It is clarified further that, according the above, the Qualifying Percentage will be as under :

PROJECT WORK / PROJECT REPORT COMPULSORY FOR ONE YEAR B, ED. PROGRAMME :

Submission of Project Work / Project Report - Paper Code C - 46 - is an essential Pre-Requisite for Enrolment of Candidates for Examinations.  Student Members MUST ensure to submit the Project Work  / Project Report before or together with the Examination Enrolment Form as an essential Pre-Requisite for Enrolment for  Examinations.

SUBMISSION OF PROJECT WORK / PROJECT REPORT IS COMPULSORY AND THE SAME WILL BE EVALUATED OUT OF MAXIMUM MARKS 300.

PRACTICE TEACHING AND VIVA :

PRACTICAL RECORDS / NOTE BOOK EVALUATION AND ASSESSMENT BY EXAMINERS AT THE EXAMINATION CENTRE AT THE TIME OF EXAMINATIONS

PRACTICE TEACHING AND VIVA WILL BE EVALUATED OUT OF MAXIMUM MARKS 300.

EXAMINATION PROCEDURES FOR THE ONE YEAR ACADEMIC PG B. ED. PROGRAMME :

Examinations are conducted Twice Each Year for the One Year Education Programme generally in the months of May / November every year as may be decided by the examination authority from time to time.  The Examinations are held under strict examination conditions and in accordance with the examination rules prescribed. Local Coaching centre will be Established as Examination Centre simultaneously.

ENROLMENT OF EXAMINEES AS MEMBERS OF THE A-I.C.A. :

After completing the programme of studies and before enrolment for the examinations, student members will be enrolled as Members of THE A-I.C.A..  They will remit prescribed Registration Fee and Compulsory Subscriptions together with fees for issue of Detailed Mark-Sheet and provisional Certificate.

CONVOCATION OF THE ASSOCIATION :

Programme Completion Awards are awarded to successful Candidate in the Convocation of the Association held annually.  Awards are Forwarded to Recipients after receipt of Convocation / Absentia Fee and Subscription Dues.

Given herein is, in brief, the systems and methods of education, training and Examinations prescribed and implemented by the Association and the Sansthan.  For further information, refer to the Prospectus, Schedules and Annextures issued by the Sansthan.

ED. PROGRAMME AND SUCH CHANGE SHALL BE APPLICABLE AND ENFORCED IMMEDIATELY ON ITS ISSUE.
